DEREK

Derek is Co-owner of FitClubSF. As a strength and conditioning coach of nearly 20 years, a former nationally ranked swimmer and dedicated surfer of 35+ years, Derek has learned from experience dealing with his own issues and those of  his clients how to effectively apply the principles of fitness that allows him to still, in his 40’s, perform at the same level as he did in his 20’s and 30’s while continuing to train hard, minimize injury and most importantly, feel good! He also Co-owns yogabeachSF in the Outer Sunset with his wife, Emerald.

EMILY

Emily's passions include running, weight lifting, yoga, traveling, and hiking around the Bay with her dogs. She enjoys working with clients who not only aim to be more fit, but aspire to grow and embrace a healthier lifestyle all around.

Expertise: Olympic lifting, power lifting, womens' lifting, HIIT.

Target Audience: Anyone looking to improve overall health and fitness.

Qualifications: NASM CPT, ACE Nutrition, Yoga Alliance Instructor.

STEPHANIE O.

Stephanie, a San Francisco native has  a background in sports, dance and yoga. She will help you define your fitness journey, provide a functional fitness program and help you commit to a healthy lifestyle. Stephanie is also a 200 and 300-hour yoga teacher, and applies her guided meditation and physical practice for her clients

Expertise: Functional Fitness focused training.

Target Audience: Anyone looking to create an overall fitness program and improve overall health.

STEPHANIE

Stephanie's style can best be described as a mix of heavy lifting and high intensity circuit training with an emphasis on functional fitness.

She also specializes in obstacle course training, teaching women to lift, and exercise for stress and addiction coping.

TIM

Tim has been a personal trainer for about a decade and a fitness enthusiast for more than 25 years. In his "free-time" he is an artist and small business owner, designing custom t-shirts and gear with influences from SF's famous landmarks.

Expertise: Power lifting and strength training.

Target Audience: Anyone looking to improve overall health and fitness.

Qualifications: 25+ years lifting and 10 years coaching experience.
